The whole area of Jasenovac and Donja Gradina villages is a huge graveyard where thousands of Serbs, Jews, Gypsies and ,,disobedient'' Croats are brutally killed and buried. Every step you make, you actually step on someone's remains. It's very stressful and disturbing experience if you...More

Set in a quiet part of Croatia, on the border with Bosnia, the remains of the camp have now been erased. But the museum on site provides an insight into what life was like in the camp, and how it operated. On the site is...More

Even though there are no leftovers of the buildings used for the purposes of exterminating Roma, Jewish, Serb and other ethnic groups that were situated at this place during the Second World War, Jasenovac Museum, the Flower Monument and the park itself send a strong...More

This is an important monument that needs to be more visited. Yes, the museum is underwhelming but the monument itself is poignant and stands as an important reminder of horrendous acts in WWII.

We stumbled on this monument. The tiny museum packs a powerful message as do the sculpture and the train. A beautiful moving remembrance of something most would like to forget.

Place to remember all people killed in this horrible concetration camp and many others in Europe in WWII. Humanity failed then and we all need to remeber it so this never repeat anywhere.

I still can't believe they let people dismantle the entire camp. There is nothing left: only underground foundations and some mole hills. It's as if people were in a hurry to forget the terrible things that happened in this place. The museum itself is tiny....More
