I've always wanted to see a cheetah but never thought I'd get the chance have cuddles and purrs with one! They were beautiful animals and so gentle having been rescued and tamed in captivity. The lion cubs and baby hyena were so cute and although you get to interact with them this was my least favourite part. It was good... More

I have had numerous encounters with lions and find this a rather disturbing event as the true danger of lions is not impressed upon the visitors and may leave them with a dangerously placid attitude to lions that may cost them dearly in the end. It is marvelous to handle the cubs (especially for kids) but parents should be very... More

Being here with the animals at Ukutula was nothing short of amazing, being so close to wildlife is not only a healing and trusting experience, but one I wish I could do for life. Gill was wonderful and gives everyone little packages to take home with them. The food and staff were amazing and the accommodation was also on point...... More

Once again, it was amazing! We are delighted to have found Ukutula. The work done here, to preserve our predators is heart warming and appreciated. Not to mention it is a great experience for visiting friends and family. We had a great time, as did our visiting family from the UK. Interaction with these predators are a rare and humbling... We went as an adult family of seven on a whim after a destination wedding. The staff at the Sun City kiosk could not have been more friendly - half the group was on a morning safari and wouldn't make the usual "pick up" time, but they graciously made arrangements so that we could all be transported to Ukutula as... The hotel room was very nice with a private sitting area outside. The restaurant was fantastic with beautifully presented luscious food - steaks, roasted potatoes with rosemary, strawberry shortcake, fresh juice. But that's not why you come. You come to play with baby lions and a baby hyena. Magic! And then walk with lions. We took 4 juvenile male lions... More

What an experience, well deserved all of the comments. The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. Take the entire experience and not just the walk with the lions, so great to be close to the animals and felt completely safe. Truly great work they are doing at the conservation center...You will not be disappointed!

Booked an afternoon interaction with the animals, incl young lion cubs, hyena, bigger lions cubs (about 7 months old) and interaction with 2 year old cheetahs. Lots of info from the guide and 2 1/2 hours well spent!
