We have three children between 3-7. We all had a fun time. There’s great outdoor play areas and walks around the grounds. The castle has a great children’s trail which also enjoyed doing! Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant day exploring Croft Castle, one of four NT houses were visitors are able to roam through the properties without following a designated route. Friendly volunteers enhanced the experience by sharing many interesting historical facts about the Croft family.

Very interesting trip to this Castle which is steeped in history. There is a lot of explanatory literature in each room which explains various parts of the history of this place and which I, personally, found very interesting.

This was an unusual (for us anyway) NT property where we had the living room pretty much to ourselves where we could sit in comfort in front of the fireplace listening to 1920s music whilst the kids played tiddlywinks. The staff here are very welcoming....More
