If you were curious about how water is naturally filtered I suggest you visit the potholes..a filtering system righ before your eyes.

A must see! You have to pay an entrance fee per person, but I think that the money is well put into use because the pathways are well kept and accessible even for wheel chairs and strollers. There is a beautiful bridge, a great view...More

Sorry I never answered this before. Not sure about the opening days but it should be. Probably not Christmas day. The walk is manageable for stroller.
