It's an okay place to explore with a Native or a guide! Nice views and interesting little Island with a very high and steep top were there are some old apartment buildings! Some night clubs traditionally opened on High Seasons or on Hollydays...nothing special! Actually I wouldn't even waste my time! There are other better things to do! Unless you really love to look on from high up!

Sao Vicente is one of the best cities in the southern Sao Paulo area. You can visit this place in the morning where you can see Santos, Guaruja and Praia Grande.

This will give you also the view of the mountain which several parasailings are departing time to time. If you are tired make a stop a terraco to drink a natural lemonade.

The best way is visit there is to get a cab or a van can take you there as well. You can walk but it is really steep and might be dangerous doing at night.

there are some spots that can give you great views from different angles... you can see Sao Vicente, Santos and Praia Grande from there. It's a great exercise to go up there by foot or bicicle, but if you prefer, go by car, it's much easier!

At the top of the Ilha Porchat hill there is the "Memorial of the 500th Anniversary" which is a Lookout designed by architect Oscar Niermayer. The lookout points to Brasilia, capital of Brazil also designed by Niermayer. Next to the Lookout you Will find a restaurant called Terraço Chopperia which despite of the antiquated cuisine and decoration it a also has a beautiful view. Attention to the large portions that serve two or more people.

Very nice place to visit in Sao Vicente. Picturesque views. Its a little bit of trek on foot so maybe a car or cab will save you a hike uphill. Make sure to bring your panoramic camera ;)

From ilha Porchat, you have a fabulous view on the beach of Santos and Sao Vicente. In addition, you can enjoy a good lunch or diner. Must see when you are near.

The views of Sao Vicente, Santos and Praia Grande are stunning from this island. Wasn't over impressed with the Niemeyer Monument but the views from there are quite nice.

Porchat Island gives you an opportunity to admire three cities of Sao Paulo State: "Santos", "Sao Vicente" and "Praia Grande" from the top! You'll be able to see the whole shore, the ships on the horizon, waves being formed, people like ants and paraglider! What a view! The belvedere projected by Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated in 2002 due to 500th year of Brazil's "Discovery", purely makes the place even more special!! It is an obligatory stop while you are in Sao Vicente!

You get a great view from up the Porchat Island but I advise you to go with a car. The walk is kinda long unless you wanna exercise a little.

From up there you can see the Itararé Beach and the São Vicente Bay.

Porchat Island has a stunning view, several bars with affordable prices and easy location, the beaches are very close to the island. You can do everything on foot or by app.
