Walked along this beach and had a meal as well. The beef steak meal was only R$10 (about £2.50) and very tasty. We went midweek and it was quiet but I know at weekends and holiday times it gets very busy. Only down side I was bitten by a crab. Loved it otherwise.

Lived at an apartment in front of the beach. I prefer Guarujá but it is very expensive in December to live in Guarujá so we decided to find something cheaper. Found Itarare but it is a disappointment. Dark at night and dirty water. There is a lot of robbery her so take care.

The beach is really clean and a lot of police all around you so you don't need to fell worry about nothing and all it's on your advantage. Great fun perfect sand clean water and you have all the ingredients for a wonderful day at the beach. For sure i'll come back soon :)

On the Santos-São Vicente border, it's a quiet beach, I went for a run at the end of the day. It appears to have a good infrastructure and was close to the place where I stayed

Good kiosks, off-season has great prices. Very nice beach view, diversity and close to Santos.

Did the city have a city hall?I went by cable car there but I had a lot of publicity because of the lack of signage and structure for pedestrians. I had time to get through, my luck was to go early. There's no way to cross the highway. Lack of municipality to discipline traffic
