On a wet New Years Day we used country roads rather than wooded tracks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Negligible traffic and what there was did not apeear to be in a hurry.

The top end has some nice trails and rope swings but the bottom ends up with you practically in people’s back Gardens. Also lots of barbed wire at the bottom and areas where work is going on so hazardous for kids

it can be done [we've done it] but some of the paths are steep and can be muddy after rain. It depends how much effort you're prepared to make!
