The Brewery is a favorite place for locals on a Friday night, or any night, really. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. They only serve beer, but you can bring in your own food. Mostly people get pizza's from Sparrow's Greek restaurant (about 50 yards away). It's open and loud and friendly.

Let me say I love love love Kodiak, the scenery the people and this place. When I first started visiting it was in a small little place by the docks now thy a have moved into an old retail space downtown. The new place has tons of room at night it seems as though half the town is there, they... More

This is a fun place and seems to be very popular. This was our 3rd trip to Kodiak, and we enjoy coming in to the Brewing Co. after fishing. It's comfortable and relaxing and there are a lot of good beers to try. The bartender is always helpful and the people friendly.

You can stop in and taste the beer but don't expect it to be your typical brewery. You can only drink beer, no food offered. It is a really neat little brewery with great beer. I would definitely recommend stopping in and giving the beer a try.

Just a good and fun place to sit down, have some very tasty craft beers and visit with total strangers(which is in itself a lot of fun)The Sarah Pale Ale was smooth, light and went down real easy, with the atmosphere being relaxed, and visiting with the people of Kodiak made it unique . Just a great way to relax.

Kodiak Island Brewing Company brews beers across a wide range of styles. I've tried many of them and all were great. My favorite just may be the Belgian which is similar to the beers I've had in Belgium. A great place to unwind after a long day of being s tourist!

Great atmosphere, fun and good beer (although gives you a headache). You can bring your own food if you want. Great place to gather with friends or strike up a friendship. Sometimes they have cider too. We like the beer a lot, but it seems to give us a headache - even if it's just one pint. Definitely a must-do... More

A really good place to try some Kodiak beers, but be warned that designated drivers/teetotallers can only get water (which is a pity). Loved the range of beer but pity about the 2 pint limit (and to some extent the lack of food - but if it did good it wouldn't quite be what it is!). Worth a visit but... More

On a dreary day we sought refuse and what a time we had. The place was packed, and we were asked if we would like to share a table for faster service and we agreed. Met people traveling by car, cruise ship and locals all sharing tales. Our server acted as the ice breaker. Great beer on tap. Best calamari... More

I cam ashore from a cruise ship and certainly didn't need anything to eat (!) but a heavy, cold rain had started and a light (warm) lunch and locally brewed beer seemed like a good idea. AND the wifi was free and fast! (This was a treat after 8 days without) The fish and chps lunch was excellent and the... More
