Sigit is a wondefurl guide. We organized all of our activities in Lombok with Bambus tours and everything resulted even better than planned. Great capacity to solve whatever little issues on the way and extraodinary disposition to adapt to the needs of the visitors.
No doubt we will work with Bambus Tours whenver we come back to Lombok. Hopefully it will happens soon.

This is my second time using Bambus Tours. Sigit is kind, good-humored, easy-going, dependable, and flexible. I am particularly grateful for the quick response at the last minute and great patience with the weather. Thank you.

The transport included a taxi to the port, a boat from Lombok to Nusa Lembongan and another taxi to our hotel. So overall, good value for money at 500 rp.
We were told that our boat would leave at 11am so would be picked up from our hotel at 7.30am. No problem. We shared the taxi with a few other people who were headed for a boat to Bali. Once we arrived at the port, around 9.30am, we were taken to a restaurant and told our boat would now leave at 12pm. Ok, still not a major problem.
Once we get to the port, we are then told by the boat company, Ekajaya Fast Boat, that the boat to Nusa Lembongan was never scheduled to leave at 11am but 1.30pm. So Bambus had basically told us lies which is very disappointing. We got in a taxi at 7.30am for a 1.30pm boat all so that Bambus did not have to do two trips to the port. All to suit the people who were catching the 11am boat to Bali.
So overall the ticket is good value for money, but don't let them spin you a web of lies so you end up sitting around for 4 hours for your boat!!

We took the Bambus Beach Tour during our stay in Kuta, Lombok. We visited 3 beaches - Selong Blanak, Mawun and Tanjung Aan, watching the sunset from the lookout at the latter beach. Sigit was a friendly, knowledgeable but unobtrusive driver and guide. All of the beaches included were beautiful. There's a 10000 rupiah entrance fee for each beach. Umbrellas and deckchairs are available at each of the beaches- be sure to haggle! We'd highly recommend Bambus tours as a convenient
and relaxing way of taking in the majestic beauty of southern Lombok's unspoiled beaches!

We booked the waterfall tour with Bambus and visited Benang Kelambu waterfall, Benang Stokel waterfall, a traditional Sasak Village and a hand weaving shop. Our guide Sunardi (or Alex as you wish) was very knowledgeable. The minute we got in the car he started talking about Lombok and Sasak people. Many Indonesian guides only answer questions when you raise them, Sunardi continuously entertained us with his stories and helped us understand Lombok. His English was also very good. On top of that, he was so kind to take us to his house when we told him we were looking for a special type of nuts and his mother had bought some at the market. Getting a glimpse of a normal village in Lombok was a highlight for us, even though it was a short one. We have seen many waterfalls, but really liked these ones as they were quite different than other ones we've seen. A great day all together, maybe just skip the weaving village. It's not a village. It's a shop, they dress you up in traditional clothing, take pictures of you and then pressure you into buying something by following you around. Typical tourist trap, no explanation, just an attraction set up to make sure you buy something. It was only a short stop, and we had a great time the rest of the day. Sunardi is probably the best guide we had in 3 weeks of Indonesia. Recommended.

The trip with "Bambustours" was great. The driver has always been in time and the tourguide was very friendly, helpful and polite. He gave us a lot of worth knowing information about Kuta and whole Lombok. He made suggestions what is worth seeing and has included our interests. All in all it was a wonderful tour and we can absolutely recommend it

I went to kuta lombok not knowing much about the place. I met Sigit, who works at the Bambus Tours office. He was very welcoming and friendly. He helped me book a surf lesson, and some tours around lombok, to the waterfalls and snorkelling trip. I then decided to try to climb Rinjani, as i decided to stay longer, and he helped me book the whole trip. He is very organised and explained everything to me clearly. I would definitely recommend Bambus tours, tourist office to anyone. It is right in the centre of Kuta, Lombok and easy to find.

We are a family of 4 and stayed for 4 nights in Kuta Lombok and used Bambus Tours for all our transfers and also for several excursions. We found that Shinggit was excellent to book with, quick to respond to messages, good prices and was great with recommendations of places to go and what to see. He was always on time, spoke great English and was very knowledgeable and informative about all sorts of things from local culture, the best beaches, food, farming, politics, where to surf, etc, etc.

Our first excursion was to the waterfalls at Benang Stokel which I would highly recommend. On route Shinggit stopped several times to show us the rice production in the paddy fields and some beautiful rice terraces. We got a great view of life in rural Lombok. The waterfalls are spectacular and well worth a visit. On the way back we stopped to see hand weaving and also a traditional Sasak Village, which was really interesting and again another insight into Lombok’s rich culture.

The next day we wanted to go surfing and to visit some of the amazing beaches near Kuta. Again Shinggit arranged everything for us, with a boat, surfboards and a guide to take us out to various surf spots at Gerupuk, where there is some world class surfing on offer. Following this we visited the beaches of Tanjung Ann, Mawun and Selong Belanak, all of which are stunningly beautiful and we had a tasty lunch on our favourite, Tanjung Ann which is just incredibly beautiful.

On our last day, we asked Shinggit to take us to Bangsal Harbour and he organised a private fast boat to take us to Gili Air. Everything went like clockwork and we had good prices for this. We even stopped at an historic temple on the way there.

Overall we had an amazing experience in Lombok and really enjoyed the amazing beaches, rich culture, great food, surfing and most of all the lovely people. I would highly recommend using Bambus Travel, as Shinggit was a great guide and we had so much fun and did so much over our 4 days. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Bambus Tours (Shigghit) coordinated two transports for us: one from Bangsal Harbor to Kuta Lombok and one from Kuta Lombok to Lombok airport. Drivers were very professional and timely. Additionally we did a tour of three different beaches (
mawun beach, selong belanak beach, tanjung aan beach and bukit meresek for sunset) near Kuta Lombok with Shigghit. All were very beautiful and the sunset on Bukit Meresek was amazing. Transports and tour were all reasonably priced. Highly recommend booking with this tour group!
