A tiny little island off the coast of Sekotong. One of three on a traditional excursion to nearby islands. Size 40 by 60 meters maximum. But everything you need for relaxation is there. A gorgeous sandy beach all around, awnings, sun loungers, several trees, a parody of a cafe, a rocky outcrop and even a toilet! The water is super clear and warm.

Gili Kedis is a real atoll that can be turned around in a few minutes. A paradisiacal setting made of white sand and crystal clear sea. However, being so small and popular, it is a little too crowded and the music from the only kiosk present ruins the atmosphere a bit.

There are around 17 small islands (gili) in this area, and this little one is my most favourite.
If you're idea of an excellent beach is about white sand, crystal clear water, wide variety of fishes and star fishes, beautiful coral garden and spectacular surrounding, then this is it. Gili Kedis, Lombok.
If you like taking photos, this place will amaze you even more. Drone it from above, you'll find this gorgeous little island is exactly a heart-shaped island. Maybe that's the reason why many calls it The Honeymoon island.

Outside of taking lovely photos (honeymoon or at sunset) there is nothing else to Gili Kedis. Is it not really an island, but more of a mound of sand. Water quality around it is poor (lots of garbage) and it is not a great snorkel area (water is too shallow and warm). Gili Nanggu's artificial reef is the only good snorkelling in this area.
We did it as part of a day snorkel trip in the area and left after 15 mins.

For now turists are few... will not last. Snorkeling is not the best, nice corals but very few fish.

Can spend time here to do snorkeling but no gazebo or haven. It's quite windy when I came here and weather is really hot. Can watch sunset from this island which is beautiful to see.

Gili Kedis is a very small island at Sekotong area, which is a pleasant island to spend time with friends and family. It is so small, you can walk around the island in about 10 minutes. Children will find it adorable since they can play with the white sands, friendly water and easily find a lot of giant blue sea stars around the islands. Teenagers and adult will be excited to post their photos to social media.
It takes only 15 minutes from the mainland. It's easy to find rented boat with negotiable prices. Afternoon time is the best; you don't want to miss the gorgeous sunset. You can combine this island with other islands like Gili Nanggu and Gili Sudak and make one day trip.
Bring your own food and water since no warung or restaurants in the island.

Gili Kedis, Gili Sudak, and Gili Nanggu is 3 islands normally visited during daytrip to West Lombok. This tiny island is good for snorkeling and just enjoy the sun. Some swings available for photo spot. Rp. 5000 entrance fee applies per visitor.
The guide said sunset is very pretty here and continue with bonfire in the evening.
Theres is small shop you can buy drink.
