We travelled with O'Brien ferries last week from Doolin to Inis Oirr, no issues at all with the crossing, the sea was a little rough but not too bad. The boat had room for everyone and you could choose to stand. Smooth sailing over and the boat was waiting when we went back. The trip back was quicker, we even... More

Really enjoyed this boat trip. We pre booked online and just had to collect tickets on arrival. The views were amazing, however the sound system kept cutting out as the captain was giving incredibly interesting facts about the history of the area, erosion etc. I felt disappointed as I did want to hear this, but to be honest just to... It was late in the afternoon and a terrible day weather wise the day we had to explore the Cliffs of Moher. We were told about the one hour ferry trip whilst there and advised it was a good way to get a close up view. So off we went having no idea what to expect. We started off outside... More

We took the hour-long 'cruise' from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher and back on Monday 25 July. The wind speed was about 11 mph and the sea was much rougher than we expected. The boat, which isn't very big, tipped bow to stern and side to side in the choppy seas in the manner of a roller coaster ride... More

Irish couple used the ferry to go to Aran island for the day. Boat was 30 min over, left on time and was fine. Only thing was door lock on toilet was broken, 1 toilet on the boat so liked was annoying. Crossing was good and weather was calm! About 1 hour 10 min back across because we toured the... More

Our tour to the Cliffs of Moher was on a day with the calmest of seas, idyllic. The crew added to the experience with their friendly banter and bits of local lore. All in all it was a perfect day.

Stayed in Doolin for the week, Read all reviews for ferries, was recommended this ferry co. by the person we rented cottage off also. Bought tickets, arrived as told, 10.50am on pier with my husband and almost 2yr old for the 11am sailing to inisheer. She was very excited about the boat trip as I had prepared her for it... More

We booked a tour to Inisheer and Cliffs of Moher with O'briens and were certainly not dissapointed. The staff including the ladies @ Doolin pier were ever so friendly and helpful. My dad aged 76 has a problem with jis vision and the lads on the pier and on the boat minded him so well. When we arrived back @... More
