The ley was not damaged by the winter storms although the beach defences were breached. This is fantastic place for wild life, lots of birds, butterflies, swans and a heron to name a few.

This review is of the nature reserve served by the Field Centre. Slapton Ley is the largest freshwater lake in SW England and it's a gem!
