The fjord is stunning and so beautiful. We drove here and there were barely any other cars or people around, adding to the pristine, untouched feel of this incredible environment. Definitely worth a visit (even just a drive past) if you are in the area.

This is a must see if you enjoy nature, landscapes and wonderful scenery.
Well worth a visit and to simply walk around the terrain and the local village.

We were surprised by the scenery as we traveled west out of Westport down the backroads. This fiord was special and reminded us of New Zealand. Tons of sheep and baby lambs affords views around every corner. Great all day drive on the way to Galway.

Highly enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half. This was a second choice decision but is now a first choice recommendation. Absolutely beautiful scenery.

This is just beautiful, worth stopping I in the area. We loved visiting Leeanne. We stopped and walked around the water for a little bit.

Beautiful fjord overlooked by the brooding Mweelrea mountain, with the charming village of Leenane at one end and the stunning beaches of Glassilaun Beach and Uggool Beach at the other end where the fjord meets the Atlantic.

A unique element of scenery on the Wild Atlantic Way, quite different from the rolling hills and mountainous terrain of the wider route. The roads runs along both banks of the fjord so you get to see two views landscape. There’s a small village at the head of the water with a few shops/pubs.

There is a cruise that you pay for but we just visited for pictures, then drove around it. Absolutely beautiful.

Stunning scenery in a very un-spoilt environment. Can experience rough weather. The mussel farming makes having mussels in the local pubs a must!
