I have visited the Cliff Walk many times while staying in Ballybunion. The view if of the Nun's rock, Nine Daughters Hole, and the Lady's Beach and a nice view of the Town of Ballybunion is well worth the time you take for the walk. I have stayed at several of the Town's B&B's and actually rented a home in the... More

Awesome blowhole along the Cliff Walk in Ballybunion. Quite natural and earthy AND deep...straight down to the ocean! Chilling to see and think how the (folklore) nine daughters could have met their deaths for disobeying their father!

Nine daughters is one eye-sight you will almost never forget nor experience anywhere you go, it takes in the ever lasting view of the Atlantic Ocean at its very best, the coastline of Co Clare straight ahead, to your left the Brandon Mountains, Slea head, to your right the inland shore line, passing Bromore Cliffts, Dooneen Cliffts, leading to the... It's fenced off now, but when we were kids we would walk right up to the edge and stare down. It's such a lovely dramatic spot.

The cliff walk is my favourite walk in Ballyb. It's absolutely fabulous and well maintained. You'll see Nine Daughters hole, great views of the beach, sea stacks, arches, other features of coastal erosion, wildlife and Nun's beach. It's food for the soul really! Take care while up there and enjoy!

This is found as part of the cliff walk. The scenery is beautiful and we'll worth the effort. The nuns beach can also be viewed on the cliff walk.

A victim of its own process of creation, the nine daughter's hole isn't what it used to be. However; the short cliff walk is very worthwhile and boasts some beautiful Atlantic cliff views and nature in all its glory. If lucky, the dolphins may be passing or the waves will be putting on a show. Don't leave BallyB before doing... More

This is a really nice cliff-walk, and the Nine Daughters Hole in particular was amazing looking. It's fenced off, but you can climb over easy enough, and there is a bit of a pathway leading down toward it, so i never felt unsafe. That said, of the 9 of us that went on the walk, only 3 of us braved... More
