We attended the banquet as part of a tour group and it remains a highlight of our trip. The experience begins as you are greeted at the door and you find yourself quickly transported back in time. A must-see experience when visiting Ireland

Enjoyed an evening eating in the Bunratty Castle. We spent the day viewing the grounds. The food was great and the wine was plentiful. The entertainment was top notch. It was enjoyable for all including the seniors.

Beverages and food was just ok - not sure it is necessary to eat with your fingers??? The music was good - the singers had great voices - but I think I would rather have been in a fun pub.

Irish evening began at 6-ish (I think) with a lovely reception, albeit up about 100 stone, narrow, spiral stairs to the upper floor great hall (worth the climb) and a treat of music, singing and mead (alcohol). Then we were... More

Hi, I haven’t been to the Irish evening however, most things in the castle are two hours long and usually finish up around ten in the evening.
