We went here on our trip from Limerick to Killarney. It was a very short detour but was 100% worth it! It was all done up for Christmas it was just lovely! Really enjoyed walking around the whole thing. The castle was very well kept. Enjoyed the views from the top. 100% worth taking a trip out, the kids will... More

A worthwhile visit to engage in the charms and folklore of a magical island. The folk park is especially interesting.

The park was an excellent stop during our driving tour of Ireland. It provides great insight into Irelands past. Very enjoyable.

We visited Bunratty Caste last week and enjoyed our time there. Most of the folk park was closed since it was the off season.(the ticket was still full price at 12.50 Euro) We like the castle but could have used more information about the history of it, even plaques or posted info about it would have been nice and we... Went to see santa here this evening with our 8 and 6 yr old. Hugely overated experience that was on the whole totally overpriced at €80. Presents - an american football type rugby ball and a small case type bag containing two other smaller cases inside. I mean really barely worth €5 each. The village was lit up alright but... More

Had a really interesting day out. Castle is a must see. Lots of history with stunning views from the ramparts. Well worth the climb up the narrow staircases. Rest of park very good lots to see and do. If I'm the area make sure you call in.

Really interesting and fun to visit. You get to climb all around inside the castle, super interesting to see how it would have been to live in those times. The folk park is also really nice - we were there in off season, so I am sure more shops and people would be around in high season, but it was... More

Great day out regardless of whether you ate an elderly couple, or a young couple with kids. Loads to see and the tea and scones are a delight. To make it a super trip get tickets to a banquet in the castle. Not for kids! !!!!! A definite night time treat for the adults though.

Beautiful historic castle, enjoyed walking around the castle and folk park and witness history brought to life! I've visited the castle and folk park twice now love the place. Great to be able to walk around the folk park and go into the old houses, pubs and shops it's like stepping back in time. Really enjoyed my visits on both... More
