Visited on a Saturday morning, but nobody around at all. Inside an oasis of calm compared to the very busy traffic outside. Very interesting memorial plaques to be seen and tributes to be read.. Clearly a very historic Cathedral, but disappointing that the doors to...More

The place isn't very interesting and is only just about wheelchair accessible but the people there are very kind and helpful.

We visited here whilst in Killaloe and were delighted to find it open. It is beautiful inside with lots of history that is all documented on information boards. It is very old and the history interesting.

It wasn't open on the Monday we were there, but we strolled around the grounds. They are lovely; the signage was pretty good; the history impressive.

A small cathedral in the centre of Killaloe. Open to the public every day. Lots of small items inside and quite quaint. Dates back to the early 1100s

The Church of Ireland follows the Anglican tradition and has a strong congregation in Killaloe. We were made very welcome, and gained much from the Dean's sermon. The Dean doubles as the local vicar, hailing from South Africa, which was a surprise.

Thank you for contacting me-- but I really don't know about services there. We just looked around the grounds and enjoyed the setting.
