Whoa slow down and take a minute

Great little surprise on a nice driver friendly drive. Mostly good roads to this spot. It is very attractive and loads of great photo opportunities

Waterfall is just outside Ardara on the way to Maghera beach. Definitely worth stopping for a photo. The power of the water cascading down is amazing. The noise almost deafening. Beautiful spot.

On the bike ride to see the caves we rode by this waterfall. It was beautiful and a real photo opportunity! The outdoor experiences in this beautiful part of Ireland have me wondering just how difficult it is to imigrate to Ireland...

The waterfall is stunning, just by the side of the road on the way to Maghera Caves and beach. Great place for a photo.

These falls appear suddenly on the narrow road to Maghera Beach just outside Ardara. There's a small car parking area basically at the foot of the falls so no excuse not to stop. It provides a nice photo op.

On a recent outing with the club we stopped at the Assaranca Waterfall, it is beautiful and involves no walking at all as there is a car park right at the bottom of the waterfall, if you are in this area it is well worth a visit, stunning scenery!!

We visited after raining and it was stunning to take a video. It's on the shore Road just south of the town of ArDara. Follow the sign to Maghera beach. You can't miss it on the roadside on the way.

Whilst staying at the Nesbitt arms hotel in Ardara we heard about this place. Although wet and dull we decided to make the short diversion to see the waterfall. It's not the Niagara falls but is quite spectacular in its own way... much better than expected, and a cracking beach a couple of miles further on.
