Yes, it's a beautiful waterfall in beautiful Ireland, but you only would stop here as you happen to be going by. No pay area, there is a small parking lot. You can easily see it on the only road going straight west from Ardara toward...More

Assaranca Waterfall is right on the road (although the whole road is off the beaten track so speak). There's some limited free parking right by the waterfall just off the road with a patch of lawn/grass that sort of invites you rest a moment and/or...More

I posted a video of the falls on the Wild Atlantic Way facebook page and it went viral. Such is the wow factor of the waterfall. Apparently it is sometimes only a dribble depending on the weather but we visited when there hadn't been much...More

We have had a wet and windy week so the waterfall was very impressive! Best part of our day. The road leads on to Maghera beach and caves but it was torrential rain at that point 😔 so we skipped that.

This waterfall is right along the road from Maghera Beach towards N56. You pull off the road and there it is. It is beautiful and worth a stop just for the photo opportunity. It would be a great spot for a picnic.

The roads are winding and overlook farmlands and a river that meets sea. ( the road is not high until one point that overlooks the water) It is not treacherous though :)
