Of the number of times I have been to Ireland over the years somehow this site escaped my getting to visit. Finally I did see this spiritual center of Ireland site and glad I did. Make sure to join in one of the regular tours...More

We got our first view of the Rock as we approached Cashel. It was an incredible sight, and it was nothing compared with the views from town, and the views of town from the Rock. Combine that with the history and it made for a...More

Excellent experience at the rock in mixed weather. So much to see here. Don't miss the guided tour because these guys really know their stuff and are entertaining too. Tip: look up the time of the audio visual presentation in your language before you go...More

Make sure to get in on one of the free guided tours; very informative about the castle's history and its inhabitants.

This is a lovely place to tour. It was extremely windy on our visit. The tour provided with the ticket price was nice. You can also walk around on your own.

Spectacular site. As literature suggest tour it when it first opens or late in the day. We arrived when it opened and had unencumbered photo opportunities. After an hour the crowd had grown substantially. Beautiful building and vistas. Dress warmly as the winds are strong....More

They have regular tours straight after you watch a video about Rock of Cashel. So probably every 30 mins.
