The Ewe is a home - open to the public, entirely created & run by a couple. Irelands only interactive sculpture garden is a must see for anyone interested in art, nature or a totally unique experience - the perfect destination for a relaxing, memorable day out. Set along a spectacular waterfall in the natural Eden of Glengarriff, it offers visitors a chance to step off the treadmill, slow down and rediscover our beautiful but vulnerable natural world. It is a journey like no other. Explore the meandering pathways and hidden corners, where curious creatures gaze back as you pass. Take the Evolution Walk through the Valley of Eden, weave your way over bridges, past humorous sculptures and discover a surprise at every turn. The creative haven of about six acres has been designed in four very different tiers up a mountainside - each with a theme: Water, Time, The Environment and Ancient Earth. Children welcome - please supervise for the safety & peaceful enjoyment of all.

Truly a worthwhile experience. Really amazing place. Visited with2 young teen boys who thought it was fantastic. Only downside is Not disabled friendly due to rocky terrain. Highly Recommended!

To say its not your average day out would be an understatement. The day was really sunny, wouldn't like to be here on a wet day. It is truly an experience and was worth the entry cost of nearly 20 for two adults and one teenager. Go with an open mind and and open eye's. Lots to see especially in... More

We have now been to the Ewe three times with three different members of our family, ranging in age from 72 ( me) to my youngest Grandaughter 2yrs , and we were delighted with the backpack you provided to carry little ones ! At any age one needs to be reasonably fit, and keep toddlers on a rein to really enjoy... More

An absolute must see place, plenty of fuel for imagination in a breath taking woodland setting. Allow plenty of time for a stop here, a brilliant place to let your inner child out, to relax, meditate or become an eco warrior there is something for everyone and no one experiences it the same way,

Very interesting gardens-thought provoking pieces of art and games for children and adults to enjoy. Loved the water feature and the jewellery.

We visited Ewe the last day of its season this year, 4th September. Luckily, we arrived in Ireland to start our vacation the same day, and I was delighted that Ewe was open until now as ever since hearing about Ewe, I have been super keen to visit. To say this sculpture garden is of the highest quality is an... More

What a place! We visited with our two children aged 5 and 8 as we were looking for something to do in the area that was interesting and fun for children. We nearly didn't come, as we weren't exactly sure what the Ewe Experience actually was after reading the brochure, but we are SO glad we did! There is something... More

I went to the ewe experience as we had a few hours to spare and a friend suggested we have a look. The reception was a bit cool and we did get some instant coffee in the little cafe. But when we started walking, we couldn't believe our eyes. Everyone there were sculptures and installations to be seen. Some sad,... More

I wasn't sure what to expect except for some folk art sculpture in a natural setting. It was so much more than that. It has something for everyone: lovers of nature, folk art, science, history, storytelling, poetry, music making, puzzle solvers. I am not entirely sure how they managed it but I felt exercised, entertained, inspired, educated and comforted all... More
