If you're in Athlone, you must visit Sean's bar on Main Street, it's a great place to spend a couple of hours. And it's the worlds oldest drinking hole!!! With plenty of photos of famous visitors!!

Cosy and warm. Nice alert staff. Guinness very good. Enjoyed few here and highly recommend. Can get busy fairly quickly so don't be shy in sharing tables with others. Worth a visit.
