Even though it was cloudy and gloomy out we still were able to see the beautiful cliffs and scenery. It was beautiful and dramatic, I highly recommend

The summit walk back to Howth is fabulous and you pass the Eire sign from WW2. The views and photo opportunities are amazing from up here.

I arrived on an early Sunday morning and decided to drive to Howth Summit. I got there around sunrise and the views were breathtaking. I did not go on the trails but spent a good amount of time taking in the views and fresh air. I saw people taking their dogs for a walk, someone taking photos, someone fishing and others exercising. After the first time, I made sure to visit on every trip to Dublin.

Worth stopping by after hiking around the rocky promontory at the south end of Howth. Staff are friendly, and the food is tasty. Prices are medium, not 'fine dining.'

Dropped In for lunch today after a pleasant walk on the cliffs on a glorious day. The food was an embarrassment. I ordered the half chicken and chips. A minor irritation that the website price was 2 euros cheaper than the menu. The chicken was tiny, shrivelled and dry as a bone with virtually no meat. Awful. The club sandwich and fries my friend ordered consisted of over cooked bacon that looked like it was cooked yesterday and left out. It was unbelievably dry and chewy.
This treat cost 13.50 which would have been pricey for really good club sandwich and chips.
We Would both have sent them back but the service had taken ages and we just didn't have time to wait again.
Avoid this place. One of those places that has a good location, has limited completion and thinks it can get away serving absolute rubbish with a hefty price tag.

Stunning views and easy walking. We took the bus to the summit, walked around, then back to the village. Beautiful view of the lighthouse and Cliffs!

Decided to have something to eat in the Summit yesterday. The atmosphere was lovely but it's a shame about the food wasn't the same. Myself and the wife went for the half roast chicken. The price was 16.95 euro and for what came out on a plate was a disgrace and after years of working in the catering industry if I was the chef that handed that plate out I would hold my head in shame. We got a dried up piece of chicken with mash but NO vegetables and a plastic little container with gravey. Everytime I swallowed a piece of chicken I had to drink water just to get it down. I would never go to the Summit again for food especially at their prices and the service.

Great hiking trail just a short bus ride from Dublin on the H3. If you want to avoid the uphill climb, take the bus to the summit. Note, the train and other buses do not go to the summit so stick with the H3 if you just want to hike down from the summit. Glorious views and a great stroll through town at the end with tons of great restaurants.

How the has a lot to offer and the views it provides are wonderful. It’s directly on the flight path to dublin airport so you always know you are home!
