Nice place to spend a few hours relaxing and strolling. Nice footpath towards the waterfall, however, be wary of the steps, can be slippy in wet weather/ limited to those of poor mobility. Often visit here, find it very peaceful.

Absolutely beautiful spot to spend a few hours and a stroll in an unspoilt environment, or just sit on the bench and enjoy the silence and the natural surounds

This is truly one of the most awesome waterfalls in Ireland 🇮🇪, just spend a few minutes here and you stand on the front of nature at its best 😀

Beautiful walk through the glen to see the waterfall. Good footpath up to waterfall, lots of steps to get up close. There’s a large car park and very clean rest rooms. Also a new cafe with a great outdoor play area for kids.

Glencar Waterfall is mentioned as one of those places you should visit while in the area. There's definitely a fair amount of tourism building up around it. Dedicated carpark by the lake, gift shop and cafe, small playground, tarmac path leading up to the waterfall...More

About an hour. Take the N4 (main road) to Sligo and its another 15 mins or so up from there.

No Cathy, it's really close to the carpark and the few steps are wide and levelled. You'll love it there.

You can get up close to the waterfall with a pram. There are steps at the top if you want to get very close but you can see all you need to see without climbing the steps
