Parke's castle on the shores of Lough Gill is a lovely place to visit. The movie at the beginning of the tour is excellent. Don't miss the boat trip on the Rose of Inishfree.

The courtyard was under construction so it was off limits, but the castle didn't charge a fee to attend which made it worth the trip. It was a quick walk through the castle, and they had some good information in the tour pamphlets they provided.

What an amazing spot this castle is in! Incredible! The history of the place and the views make this a must see for anyone....especially those that like there history !

We encountered this castle along our way, but it was closed so could not see inside. We did walk all around the outside to take pictures. Unfortunately the entrance was lined with garbage cans and wish they would've found a better place for them so...More
