Doneraile park is great for a walk for young and older children. There is a lovely Georgian house in the middle of the park. There is also a playground that younger childern can play in if they get a bit tired of walking. In doneraile they have animals such as deer and ducks in a pond too. It is pet... More

There are some great walks along the rivers of Doneraile park, with hills and great view of the Doneraile house. You will see the deer on your way. The deer are in a fenced off area, but that's so big it looks very natural. The park is not huge, but you can easily walk for 2 hours without walking the... More

We arrived at around 2pm. We didn't park in the car park and arrived in through the pedestrian gate. It was very picturesque with the amazing colours of the leaves. We had the dog with us and she really enjoyed walking around. It might be nice if they had a section of the park where we could let the dog... More

What I liked about this park were the maps handed out so that you could chose what length of walk you wanted to do and what you wanted to see. The day we went was sunny and we strolled around the grounds having first had coffee and cake in the cafe which was also excellent and we could sit either... More

The perfect spot for family with young children. Great playground and absolutely beautiful surroundings-ideal for walking and exploration. Lovely tearooms nearby but also ideal for picnics. Added bonus:it doesn't cost a cent to enter!

This park is free and has free parking. There is a play area next to the car park for small children. There are many walks around the park that will suit everyone. The only animals in the park are deer.
