But an astonishing amount of information and memorabilia in that small space. It would be easy to spend a few hours here.

This is an old school house which was interesting in itself. The place is really very old fashioned in its presentation & layout and looks like several very interested researchers wrote up the history for something local. It could do with an overhaul but that'd...More

This location is well worth the visit. I have been here several times in the past and brought the kids and my partner this time. Needless to say they loved it! So much to see and do.

A location NOT to be missed. A fascinating history of Valentia well documented and located in the old schoolhouse in Knightstown. Allow yourself ample time to take in all that is there.

This attraction gives you great information about the island, there is so much information about the area and it is laid out in different sections in the old school house.

This was a bad weather option for us but we were all pleased we went. A very strange mix of things from the islands past and for me the history of the trans Atlantic cable was the most interesting.
