Rick Steves raved about this tour, and for good reason. Our tour guide was Barry, and he's fun, interactive, clearly loves his job of teaching people about Kinsale, and he knows a heck of a lot about his chose topic. I won't bore with details....More

Barry gave us a fun and informative tour of historic Kinsale. Really helped to better understand the town as we explored. The pace of the tour was good and the size manageable. You could easily hear Barry over the street noise.

My husband and I recently took this tour with Barry. It was a very informative guided tour of Kinsale. Barry was very engaging and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kinsale.

A great walking tour of a beautiful town. Barry was very friendly and was a wealth of information of Kinsale. In my limited amount of time here, I was very happy to learn about the history here.

Hi, Can anyone help me? I am planning to spend a week in southern Ireland over Christmas time this year with my 21 year old daughter. We have never been to S. Ireland before. I have boiled it down to 4 locations where we have places we can stay. These are: Kinsale town centre, Courtmascherry, Baltimore and Crookhaven, Mizen Peninsular. Which would anyone suggest as being the best spot to base up for a week. WE will have a hire car, and enjoy visiting pubs, taking walks (weather permitting), and eating out. I am basically South African and my daughter studies in London. Thanks for any input. Ian
