I booked this tour mostly for my husband who loves whiskey, and did not expect to enjoy myself. The tour was really interesting and the grounds are amazing! They really go into every detail during the tour - the history, the process of making whiskey, and you get to see so much! My husband had a great time doing the... More

I didn't expect to learn much here, but it was an interesting experience. The location is beautiful, if a bit off the beaten path. The old historic buildings are pretty amazing, too. I learned a lot about whiskey in general and Jameson specifically and the tasting was interesting and informative as well.

We generally avoid tours like a leper colony, however we decided to take the 2 hour "Behind the Scene" Jameson Distilled tour in Midleton, near Cork. One of the most interesting and inform tours we've experienced. I thought it seemed a bit pricey, but having gotten behind the scenes and tasted many of their whiskeys, it turned out to be... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and went on the tour. You start off watching a film about the history, and then toured the old buildings and saw the process of making whiskey from beginning to end. Our guide was friendly, well informed, and was happy to answer any questions we had. After the tour, you're invited to a free tasting... More

This tour, renovated few months ago, shows the essentials about whiskey. Even the not biggest fan of whiskey will love this tour. All the mystique about history, tradition, techniques and art are magically showed and detailed on a beautiful performance. Highly recommended, you will not forget this tour.. A spiritual journey on a spiritual drinks.

This is an interesting insight to the Irish way of whiskey production . The staff were knowledgeable and helpful and the 'craic' was equally good. Nice restaurant and shop as well

The grounds of this distillery are very nice and I loved the authenticity of it all. I gained a new appreciation for the Jameson brand and it was wonderful how the tour took you step-by-step through the whiskey-making process. We toured on April 12th at 1pm and unfortunately I do not remember the young lady's name who guided us but... More

We booked this through Cork City Tours so we were picked up in Cork by a coach and transferred to Middlton with a very nice and knowledgable driver. We are a family of 4 and we all enjoyed it. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgable and 8 of us got to test 3 whiskeys at the end of the... More
