I have visited the donkey sanctuary on a few occasions. They do great work and are very dedicated to their mission. It's well worthwhile going and you are doing your bit for society by doing so.

We truly enjoyed our visit to the beautiful Donkey Sanctuary in Cork. The volunteers here clearly put in so much hard work with the animals. It's inspiring and heartwarming to see how these sweet donkeys are receiving excellent care and recovering from any past traumas....More

The shop and the picnic are were great and the walks were nice but one long one was closed since the last time I'd been there. It was nice to see the donkeys and know their names.

Hi, it's 29km if you go through Mallow and turn left for Liscarroll at the Hospital. When you come into Liscarroll turn right and it's about 400 from the village centre.

The sanctuary is only just outside Liscarroll village, walkable distance from the village. No public transport directly to Liscarroll as far as I know. If your accommodation is nearby a taxi would be an option. Your hotel... More
