Visited on a lovely sunny day. Pleasantly surprised with the medieval dovecot a particular highlight. Give yourself 10-20 minutes to look around.

Great bit of history tucked behind bushes on a corner of the N20. It has the largest and best preserved dovecot in Ireland.

very good walk about within the abbey ruins, read up on the history before venturing in. It has amazing stone work and some very old grave stones.
