Have been to the castle and grounds many times but never did the castle tour. Very enjoyable and informative! Had my 8yr old with me and he loved it too. The guide, Bronwyn, was very knowledgable and made it a fun and interesting experience for everyone! Would definitely recommend it if visiting Malahide.

We paid a flying visit to the castle to finish our weekend in Dublin and really enjoyed it. The lady on the visitor centre desk on Sunday afternoon was very helpful and booked a taxi for us to go the airport as we left. The castle itself is superb, oozing history and the estate looked amazing I felt it was... More

I loved this castle, while touristy of course, I found everything about it very interesting from the architecture to the furniture, some of which is over a thousand years old! Definitely worth a visit here as well as the rest of Malahide.

Malahide Castle and gardens were spectacular. They are a quick 5 minutes walk from town and 10 minutes from the marina. The plants, lawns and trees are extremely pretty and the castle itself will transport you to another time, absolutely lovely.

If you like history, or 1000 year old chairs (yea, 1000 years..) this is where you want to go. Easy access to the whole grounds. If you buy a ticket (which in Feb 2017 cost 12€) you get access to the whole grounds, and a guided tour through the castle itself.

Once home of the Talbot family there are regular guided tours of the castle/house which provide a good insight into its history. The gardens are worth a visit. It was February so not the best time of year, but we will return when in bloom

it was a rainy day and was looking for some where to go and took a trip to the castle, not expecting much but was very very surprised. This place is well worth the visit.
