We toured Dingle on our own, but it's always nice to get a verbal history of an area. My husband had a respite from driving and was able to enjoy the sights. We saw ogham stones, beehive houses, Gallarus Oratory and Slea Head. I only wished that the van had larger windows and seats with shorter backs. It was sometimes... More

While this was billed as an archaeological tour it was in fact more of a general tourist type tour. More time was spent on what movies were filmed in various locations we passed through than any relevant history. Rick Steves gives this tour high marks which is one of the reasons we took it. That said , Rick's tour must... More

This was a highlight of our Dingle trip. Tim was a great guide- very knowledgeable and friendly. He picked us up at our hotel and offered to drop us off either in town or back at our hotel. The tour was very informative with great stops and picture opportunities along the way. It was the perfect thing to do after... More

It's hard to get a spot on this tour, but try! Tim narrates as he drives us in a small van around the dingle peninsula, There are several stops at interesting and picturesque spots. He is very knowledgeable guide, not only the history and archaeology, but also about films made on peninsula, such as Ryan's Daughter, and Far & Away.... More

I highly recommend this tour as a wonderful overview of the history of the Dingle area. The tour goes to places that one might not otherwise see. The tour guide is extremely knowledgeable.

We took this great tour at the end of June on day 2 of our 4 day stay in Dingle. Tim was a very gracious and knowledgable tour guide and gave us a such a wonderful and complete overview of the history and sites along the Slea Head Drive on the Dingle Peninsula. I think it is an advantage and... More

We loved this tour. Tim was great at his timing, explanations, and answering extra questions. We toured the area on our own again the next day because he gave us a good enough overview that we felt we could go pick and choose our private stops. That worked perfectly! There's so much to see that we could go back for... More

We had a bit of trouble trying to book this tour online, but we are so glad we persevered!! It was a fantastic tour which took the back roads through the peninsula in a small van. Mr Collins was a great guide giving wonderful background on the sites and allowing us time to explore and ask questions. We would absolutely... More

My mother and I took this tour on a rainy and cold afternoon but had a wonderful time. The tour was about two hours and took us around Dingle Peninsula in an intimate van of about 6 other folks. The tour guide was lovely - very knowledgeable and funny. My mother and I had already done a fair amount of... More

My husband and I and another couple booked with Tim after reading about him in Rick Steves' book and the reviews on TA. Tim is very knowledgeable and a gentleman. We learned a lot about Ireland and enjoyed the tour very much. The peninsula is beautiful. We highly recommend it.
