Visited this beach while on Slea Head Drive with family. The waves at the beach were wild and the spray and blowholes were incredible! This beach is an amazing reminder of the awesome power of the ocean! Definitely worth a stop while doing the Slea Head Drive!

Stop here to take i the view and walk the beach. Of course you can't really swim -- this is a beach for walking and sightseeing! All the way on the end of the Dingle Peninsula, the best spot in Ireland.

From the car park there is an easy walk along the coastline that lasts about an hour. The soft green grass along the rocky gray rock formations contrast with the blues of the sky and sea. While not the difficulty of the mountains, some of your part may like the ease of this in the evening.

After visiting Coumeenole Beach, we were ready for more beautiful beach views. Clogher Strand provided that! It was extremely windy the day we were there, but it seemed easier to stand outside here than at Coumeenole. It provided a different kind of view, perhaps more expansive -- I guess that's why it is called a strand. Like Coumeenole, another beautiful view on the Dingle peninsula.

This has to be one of the most amazing beaches, waves were truly wonderful and so full of force crashing on the cliffs. Lovely walk to the right of the beach.

We planned on a walk but it was a beautiful day so we lazed on the beach. Amazing sand. What a shame it’s not suitable for swimming!

This is a special spot, and great for a picnic. Beautiful sand but also incredible tide pools to explore. We also took a hike from there along the shore. A memorable day!

Clogher Strand is not a beach for swimming as the waters are too treacherous. It is, however, a great place for taking pictures of crashing waves. The sprays from the water hitting the rocks is enormous and makes for some truly memorable photos.

Really quite beautiful. We could see why it's been used in movies like "Far and Away" and "Ryan's Daughter." It has quite dangerous currents, though, so it's not safe for swimming. We were told we could see the Blasket Islands from the beach, but it was a pretty foggy day when we were there. Still beautiful, though.
