... to make the trip vaguely interesting. The host was distinctly uninterested in talking about the area. And chasing a poor solo dolphin round the bay with a fleet of motor boats in the name of 'nature watching' is pretty base.

We went out yesterday for a short 2hr session on one of Dingle Bay charters boats, another fantastic afternoon. Loads of mackerel caught, along with some nice pollack. Couldn't believe the fishing we had in 2 hrs, just a short journey from the marina. We have used these guys for the last couple of years and they have always provided... More

We showed up about 11 and scheduled a tour at 2. We went over to oceanworld aquarium while we waited. It was a rocky ride out that spooked a few kids but at our request they slowed down. We saw cliffs, caught more fish than we could eat, and saw Fungie on the way back into the harbor. It was... More

Had an excellent fishing trip today with Pat. Great to have a look at the bay and surrounding coastline. We did some fishing and were lucky to go through a shoal of pollock. We've just eaten them for tea, absolutely delicious with lemon and wild garlic. Pat carefully positioned the boat so that we had the best chance of a... More

Last year went on trip to see Fungie. Trip was not successful. Boat stayed out a lot longer to try to find Fungie, who did not want to be found. BACK late and office was closed and wasn't able to get refund. Recently found out that the company boat went to every effort for us to see fungie and was... More

My father and I always love fishing and do not believe in keeping more fish than we need (we are recreational CAR anglers). For my father's birthday in July 2014 I got him a fishing trip and the man that took us out on the boat was called Paki (not sure if that's the correct spelling). When I started letting... More

Great trip! Exactly what we were looking for while visiting the Dingle Peninsula! On time & easy to schedule, (even the same day, fortunately!) Very nice boat and plenty of good equipment. Our boys had a great time & enjoyed catching some big fish! Our Captain knew just where to go, and recommended a nearby restaurant that prepared it for... More

Went on 3.30 trip to see fungie. Supposed to be a one hour trip. No sign of the dolphin. Trip guarantees full refund if you don't see fungie. We didn't see fungie but instead of being back as expected around 4.30 we were not brought back until 5.15 . Office closed so no chance of refund of €30 for two... More

Hi David We are sorry that had an unsatisfactory experience with Fungie (but he is wild and sometimes does not want to play) but we must apologise sincerely for the frustration you must have felt on finding the office closed. Rather than writing half a page of reasons (excuses) on how there was a rare breakdown of communication on Oct... More

Rode out on the Lady Breda to single the famous Dingle Bay dolphin. It's a one hour trip and there is a bathroom on this ship. We didn't use it so I can not comment further. It was a gorjus sunny day, and the captain did a terrific job of piloting the boat so there was just enough splash for... More
