Well preserved complex of the ruins of second Bulgarian capital. Should be accompanied with visit to the Archeological museum, where one can see pottery, jewelery and the reconstruction of the city. Combined ticket for both sites is only 3€

For me, as a Bulgarian, I am proud of our history and this place has been our ancient capital when Bulgaria was an Empire! I wish it was better preserved, but the museum and the church are nice to visit.
