Fantastic food, excellent gift and information area, great walks, very family orientated and easily accessed by disabled visitors- with mobility chairs and scooters available for hire.. Ample parking, good facilities and a bird spotters dream come true.

The scenery surrounding the centre is beautiful, especially on a good day. There is plenty of car parking and seating around the centre . The cafe has a god range of reasonably-priced food. Having said that, the entire complex needs a bit of a facelift....More

Situated in Oxford Island nature reserve, this restaurant serves delicious home made food which is very reasonably priced. Friendly staff super views.

Visited the discovery centre twice (June 2014 and July 2017) both times I found the staff friendly and helpful. There is no entrance fee for the centre. There is plenty of information about Lough Neagh in the Discovery Centre there is also a nice cafe...More

Family day out wonderful spot beautiful scenery ducks to feed also gorgeous walk around has coffee shop and gift shop and great wee information place with leaflets etc for butterfly and bug spotting also has a great play park we go here often

the discovery center is great .full of information about the wildlife on the wonderful nature reserve. good starting place for all the many long walks in the area . good place to meet up with regulars who go to the area often. great for bird...More

Went here on. Monday at 5 pm. Blazing sunshine and a great many people in the park. Restaurant closed at 4.30pm numerous people asking a lady at the reception desk could they get ice-cream, coffee, water etc. Apparently not. What was she for? In 2017...More

Yes. It's a long drive down from the main road off the motorway but you couldn't miss the visitors centre when you get down. The centre and cafe are the same building and both are wheelchair accessible. There's also a few... More

Dogs have to kept on a lead in the grounds around the Discovery Centre but not allowed in the Centre building.
