Stunning afternoon spent in the park

A lovely afternoon spent in the park including lunch at the café there. Lots to do for all ages and the park is kept beautiful and litter free.

Great versatile park in centre of Matlock with open space, tennis court, skate park, children's play area, pitch and putt and small train and motor boats on pond, plus park cafe

This is a small but pleasant park in the middle of Matlock. There is a good play area with swings, climbing frames and a paddling place as well as a large duck pond with boats! There is a small train and a great café with excellent food. For older children there is a putting green and a skate board park... More

lovely park with paddling pool, boating lake,play areas and nice cafe to have a cuppa great for picnics and right in matlock town centre

Had a lovely day here lovely stroll through park to splash area as the schools had gone back it was reasonably quiet but busy enough for children to play together what a lovely area, finished up having a delicious lunch in tea room there excellent value for money and beautiful food definitely return

Lovely gardens, plenty of benches,walk through from one side of Matlock shops to the quainter ones on the Matlock Bath road.Lots of water birds to feed. Children's boats, bike/skateboard park etc. It's a large park

Very well equipped. - playground, paddling pool, small boating lake, pitch and putt, bowling green, tennis courts, skateboard area and lovely cafe.

we spent a week self catering in matlock with a dog and this park was on our doorstep,it provided us with a pleasant dog walk in the morning and evening (felt very safe and clean, good lighting after dark) and excellent facilities for the kids during the day,splash park for little ones,boating lake for older ones (my 2 loved being... Hall Leys Park is a large, traditional Victorian park with bandstand located in the centre of Matlock and is well worth a visit.
