I found the trams uninteresting and uninspiring. Just one big shed full of old trams. Also working trams that travel about one mile along a track. The staff, however, were very enthusiastic about their working trams and very polite. The food was terrible. We ordered a pie, but it had clearly been heated up in a microwave which made the... My wife and I visited on a rainy weekend and despite the weather thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's a surprisingly big attraction and offers plenty to do and see for families. We went on a couple of the trams and looked around the trams on display. The cafe, as others have said, was great (although very busy) and we had a... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of trams and the beauty of the area and woodland walk. Go on as many trams as you like.

Excellent open air style museum. Best when dry. Lots to do, must walk to see everything, especially wooden sculptures (see attached photos). Staff friendly and approachable.

Have not been to the Tramway museum for a good few years, but when I went it was very interesting and in those days quite inexpensive. When people are there, may I suggest they also visit Crich Stand, the nearby Mercian war memorial, especially on the first Sunday in July, when the memorial service is held, as this commemorates the... I do happen to be a tram fan, so this place was like a mecca for me when we were in the UK. My wife tolerates me. But even she said she enjoyed her day here. The tramway village section is very cool with the buildings set up to look like an small British village, with lots of trams going... More
