Its a nice place to visit although i think you drive off the tarmac about 6 or 7 kilometers, clean golden sandy beach with a lot of wind/kite surfing activities

This is a unique site unknown to many people with a golden sandy beach in Mambrui. The place is very beautiful, expansive and private. There are very few people who visit the place and is therefore ideal for couples.
It is a chill place to be and has a few restaurants around.
You could also carry your own food. We had a picnic by the beach.

After crossing the Sabaki and branching off the Lamu Road to the right a wide open bay emerges. Several access path to the beach, unspoiled beaches for swimming and bodysurfing. Pop by Che Shale restaurant for delicious seafood and potent cocktails.

There are 2 ways to get to the beach; either drive along the beach with hired trucks or drive to the beach through a rough terrain and forest. We chose the latter!
The drive did not disappoint, and was fun getting lost twice! Anyway, the beach has gold-ish sand and is expansive, beautiful and enjoying. There is a kite-surf school and hire facility and it was full of fun. The food was not bad either and I would recommend the place anytime.

This is a must see, very low profile yet chiq. Not the white sand of Watamu but golden beaches and sand. Kiteschool is very nice and super friendly staff. Food is super good!

this place allow you to experience the African touch. The drive in to the palm forest is beautiful and the view of real life is another plus. After reaching the beach you will get surprise because the immensity of the area and the length of it is really waoooo. The water is nice and you will swim with thousand particle of gold. You can enjoy a long walk and noce lunch. Ideal for kite surfer
