We went to the Festival of lights this evening it was very pretty and I would recommend it but you need to be very careful when buying tickets. I went on line put in festival of light and bought tickets from what I thought was the Longleat site. I later discovered that I had actually bought day tickets from a... More

***** DO NOT USE THE LADIES TOILETS TO THE REAR OF COSTA AFTER DARK ***** 1 star for the toilet situation, 5 stars for the attractions, so 3 average overall I was horrified to realise that the large skylight over the centre cubicles afforded everyone a complete reflected view of the occupants and all their activities. What was further disturbing... More

Came here with local U3A group specifically to see the festival of lights and was not disappointed at all. We came by coach and firstly had a tour through the safari park and saw the"big five ". The tigers and lions were very active and the 3 rhinos were located quite close to the road. We then had a tour... More

Festival of Lights was great but queues were so long to get through the safari. It made for a tiring day sat in traffic basically. But getting so close up to lions and tigers and wolves and deer makes it all worth while.

We arrived after 10am for a leisurely drive through the safari Park and got up close and personal to a lot of the animals. All very well organised and took about an hour but at peak times it could take 2 hours. Next was a visit to the amusements, smaller animals, rides, boat safari and attractions around the Great House.... More

We visited for the festival of light it was truly amazing, the only down side was the santa train was fully booked and there were areas you had to pay extra to access i.e. The artic corner we didn't know this and they were sold out on the day :( but definitely worth a visit for all ages.

We had a fantastic day doing the safari park and the lights. Brilliant great value for money. Very busy but everyone seemed really happy. After dark with the lights was magic. If you and your children like Beatrice Potter and the magic of her stories you have to go
