In your stride

The country park is a nice place for a quite walk. The river running along side you when you are strolling along taking the views and fresh air in your stride.

This was just a gentle family stroll on a cold but bright and dry morning. Some paths not open so could not come back on the other side of the river. Very enjoyable.

Steeped in history, great for walking. The Roe River runs through the park and is a well known salmon fishing too. A magical place to wander around and brilliant for picnics and spending time with loved ones.

I often walk up through the country park with the family and dogs, such a lovely and peaceful walk. There are a number of different routes available which Is really good, kids absolutely love it.

Lovely park in winter, beautiful river and good paths. Ideal for dogs. Make sure you have your wellies!! Unfortunately a section of the path is closed and has been for a long time, which means you must return via the same path. But very beautiful. Toilets available at car park. No swings and slides.
