We popped in to see the Christmas trees display and stayed for the Christingle service. The people there were extremely welcoming and friendly. The service was really fun, informative and very uplifting.

We came here on the Friday after Easter when the church was still decorated with masses of flowers. A beautiful old church, with a fascinating tomb of Fulke Greville and his wife, lovely stained glass and the mechanism of the old clock. A warm welcome...More

St Nicholas Church is in the heart of Alcester. It is certainly a must place to visit. Lots of history and things to see. The Church is well kept inside and out and very picturesque. The Towns War Memorial is in the Church grounds.

The church is beautiful both outside and inside to see. You have to go in and see all the lovely parts of the building like the stain glass windows, the organ and all the floral displays done by some of the local congregation.

A lovely church located in the centre of Alcester. Open until late as well. Fine tower and clock that dominates the town centre.

St Nicholas is at the heart of the community and its clock tower is what dominates the street scene wherever you are. Walk inside for the stain glass windows and history; visit every Thursday evening to hear the bell practice.

A beautiful church, in the centre of the lovely ancient town of Alcester. The tower dates back to the 14th century, but the main body of the church was largely rebuilt in 1729. The church is light and airy, and when we visited a couple...More
