spent a lovely time in the Mournes over Easter. Loved the walk up to the silent valley, a really beautiful area. will be back very soon.

Well worth visiting if in the area but at this time of year the cafe and visitor centre were both closed so need to check beforehand.

The advantage is that you can go anytime of the year. If you depend on a bus, you only would be able to go on summer. If you park inside, they charge you for passengers.
