Located on top of a cliff on the amazing Northern coast. The castle itself is a (very clean) ruin, but the views are magnificent, if you choose a clear day for your visit...

We were lucky enough to stop by this castle while the sun was out and the views along the coast were amazing. There are lots of interpretational signs around explaining the different areas of the castle as well as depictions of what they would have...More

A beautifully situated ruined castle. Cute little visitor's center. Very interesting layout for a castle of the period. Helpful signs around showing what each area would have looked like.

This place is drop dead scenic and has tons of history so its worth a visit. It is a ruin and it won't take very long to go through. It's a bit pricey at 13 pounds each for a ruin, but it's still worth a...More

Interesting castle with more of a 'stately home' feel to the ruins within the keep. A relatively small entrance fee and a history extending beyond the castle walls to an abandoned church across the road.

Stopped here as a bit of a time filler and was very glad we did. From a distance it looks like any old ruined castle, but when you go inside the amount of detail still evident is quite impressive. One area has a reconstructed window...More

Beautiful old castle. The view from the area is great. High enough to see the city of Portrush, and on a clear day the coast of Scotland. If you're going to the north coast this is a must stop

It was very cold and windy on the day we visited - it certainly would not have wifi at the castle as they are only ruins. Cannot comment on the tea rooms as did not visit. Would suggest you have a look at their website.
