Nothing more than an empty shell ontop of a hill, but on a sunny day the short walk up the hill from the road is worthwhile.

We visited Dryfwlyn Castle and from that point we noticed that tower. It's just a 15min-drive from the castle. It worth a visit! Stunnig views from the windows to the area to see the Castle and Golden Grove Mansion, a bit windy though up.

A Victorian folly built on top of a hill to serve no purpose other than to commemorate an event and provide an excellent view over the surrounding countryside. A good size car park provides free access through a kissing gate and a 200 metre walk...More
