Excellent Micro Pub, very popular with real beer enthusiasts and no wonder, their beers are all excellent. This is a very small and cosy bar with friendly (and very brewing knowledgeable) clientele. What some would no doubt call "a proper pub". I will return.

We managed to find this place for a pint on our spare afternoon in Skipton before setting off to walk Lady Anne’s Way. Another simple micro pub offering great ales with very friendly service and no superfluous ‘frills’. Well worth seeking out.

This pub is tucked well away in Skipton town centre. It's small but perfectly formed. Very nicely decorated and enough seating. Friendly staff and even a few books to pass the time. Nice bar - would go back.

I came across this gem on a "Lads" weekend, with a bunch of over-60s schoolmates. Brilliant! Not only a great selection of beers and ciders, but a very welcoming atmosphere from staff and locals alike. We were entertained by James' dry wit and guided through...More
