Flagstaff always takes my breath away. Lovely quiet place with spectacular views of Co Down and o'meath area. View from Newry to as far as greenore and greencastle. Place for picnic and able to play games on grass area.

This is where I go to take early morning shots of the sun rise over Carlingford lough as it captures both Cooley and the Mourne mountains in one go . Desmond . Desmond Daly photography.

Narrow roads to the top, but worth the effort for the views of Carlingford Lough and the Mournes Mountains.
