This is one of the finest scenic viewpoints in all of Ireland. It shows Carlingford Lough which is an excellent example of a glacial feature. At low tide the sill at the mouth is easily identified as is the deep depression in the centre.

Flagstaff always takes my breath away. Lovely quiet place with spectacular views of Co Down and o'meath area. View from Newry to as far as greenore and greencastle. Place for picnic and able to play games on grass area.
