My third trip to Vieques and definitely, the best digs yet. Cool modern vibe, everything here is clean and new. Nice continental breakfast every morning. Lovely outdoor seating. The hotel offers the amenities you would expect, ice and ice chest for the beach along with sunbrellas and beach chairs. The pool is small, secluded, and a bit shady, however, it... More

This "boardwalk" area is a sidwalk area that looks out over the ocean, with wonderful resturants and small shops across the street.

Lots of hustlers running about trying to sell you trouble. The restaurants are great, drink in moderation. i had a few too many, a punk on bike gave it try. He accidentally landed on his head. I got a laugh, as did our party. But the local law and kid thought it was a bit excessive. He went to jail,... More

We enjoyed our walk along the Malecon, but don't assume it will be like Havana's Malecon. I'd say this one is a quarter mile. We did see a charming black pig running alone a nearby street.

Great place to go for that tropical vibe any time of the day. However, in the evening the place comes alive. Yes, the most touristy place on the island but still low keyed. Several bars and restaurants with many artists booths.

If you're in Vieques, you have to go here. It's probably the most happening area of the island. You'll meet tourists and locals, and there are plenty f food and activity options.

It's the main strip in town with all types of little restaurants and bars. At night there are craft vendors selling there wares. Very cool spot that overlooks a beautiful bay!

No bad choice- whatever restaurant you will select. Ask for menu before you seat down. Prices are high everywhere, but few - and these are very good choices as well- go to the trip advisor map and will show you $ or $$$. The $ are about $12 / plate and local Medalla beer $2. On parallel street to Malecon... More

A walkway along the water and the main street in Esperanza. Sit and watch the sun set. Stroll along and pick out the restaurant you want to eat at. Watch the people walk by. Explore what the vendors are selling. Listen to the music coming from the bars. Really a cool place...the happening place in Esperanza.

Scenic and safe, this is the spot for catching the best view of the setting sun. Night after night, overlooking the water and a cluster of moored yachts, couples, families and children wander the malecon.
