Visited the Poppies Wave on the pier today and found this part of the town to be less busy and a great place for a walk. Uncle Tom's cabin is a great stop spot for a cuppa.

The perfect location to pitch up in the evening in the summer to enjoy a lazy fish & chip supper whilst watching the sun go down.....almost have the beach to ourselves. Heaven!

As a child this was where I went on holiday. Today, my son enjoys visiting. The quality of the beach is noticeable. The facilities block was valuable in the old days and remains so today. We did not use Tom's Cabin on this occasion.
