This place is a beautiful place to visit. Lovely story behind it and all the people that help seemed friendly. You need hiking boots or shoes.

We visited in Feb half term with our two daughters age 8 & 9. They loved the 'adventure' of climbing and descending the 675 steps, especially the very very steep Jacobs ladder. The view of the waterfalls are beautiful. Well worth the trip.

this has two different walks , we walked down the steps to the falls. Steps were steep but it is well worth the walk down to view the three bridges. You do need a £1.oo coin to access the steps. then pull a lever to get out when you exit the site .

A lovely walk down into here. You do need to pace yourself. Probably not the best place if you have mobility problems. You can loose yourself, not literally!

Lovely walk around with our dog... although some of the steps were very steep which was quite challenging for our old dog. Lovely views and worth the walk, but wear sensible shoes and be careful.

Thank you for visiting. It was very cold here yesterday so you were brave to head out and about. I'm sure all those steps kept you feeling warm; especially on the way back up. I'm glad that you enjoyed your walk. More

Pulled up in car park at top & walked down few yards to bridge area. 2 separate walks available. A short walk which costs a quid & takes 10 mins or a longer walk which covers about a mile & 675 or so steps, it took us 50 mins to do this walk. Some of the steps are steep &... More

This is a very beautiful place but you have to have a bit of fitness to do the 500 ish steps down and up. They are uneven and often quite deep, so not for anyone with limited stride. I have now done this with a 2 year old, not recommended and again with an 80 yr old. She thought her... More

Thank you for your comments. It is a very challenging walk for some people; especially an 80 year old. We wouldn't recommend the long walk to anyone who has heart trouble or general fitness problems. There is a short walk if visitors want to see the three bridges. More

I'm pleased to read that you enjoyed your visit enough to want to come back. It is very different in the Spring and Summer so you could revisit and compare the views to your winter visit. More

Open all year round, we went Boxing Day. You have to use the turnstile to get in when out of season. Definitely worth the visit whatever time of year. We did the smaller walk on one side of the road first. Amazing view of the waterfall and the three bridges. Only took a few minutes to do that one. The... More
